Dogawash takes care to ensure your pets grooming needs are met. Dogawash cannot be held responsible for dog owners not taking responsibility for health issues including skin irritations and excessive matting. Pet owners are encouraged to brush their dogs regularly, keep up to date with flea treatments and visits to their local vet to ensure their health and wellbeing.

Excessive matting can affect pricing due to additional work and in some cases owners may be referred to the vet to address issues related to matting and damage it may cause to your dog or other issues discovered under the matting such as lumps.

Shampoos used are of a premium quality. Special shampoos are available
for dogs with white coats and skin allergies, and even puppies.

Dogawash recommends monthly flea and tick treatments to ensure your dog is free of fleas and ticks. Treatments can be purchased online or through your local pet stores. Dogawash provides quality flea shampoo rinses, however, rinses do not guarantee all the fleas are eradicated.

If your dog has long or curly hair, regular brushing will reduce knots and matting and will make life more bearable for them. It will also reduce time Dogawash spends with your dog. All long haired dogs and poodles must be brushed to ensure all knots are removed before being bathed because if they are not, the knots will be a lot worse. Imagine how you would feel if your hair was matted and you couldn’t fix it!

Always ensure you have plenty of water bowls around your house for your dogs to drink. Remember, some dogs love playing with water on a hot day and before you know it your dogs could be dehydrating.
